Our Team
Nick - Coach
Nicholas is a certified movement instructor whose classes explore the meeting point of strength and stillness, form and feeling. His work is rooted in the belief that the body is both a tool and a teacher—and that when we learn to listen to it, we unlock deeper presence, awareness, and possibility.
As one of The Bare Collective’s Lead Coaches, Nicholas brings this philosophy into his mindful masturbation work. He blends a profound understanding of breath, embodiment, and energetic awareness to guide participants toward a more intentional relationship with arousal. His facilitation centers on expanding sensation, deepening presence, and helping men move from automatic habit into conscious exploration.
Drawing from a multidimensional background in functional fitness, dance, sport, and injury recovery, Nicholas brings a rare combination of technical expertise and intuitive guidance. Every session—whether movement-based or pleasure-focused—is built around breath as the anchor: a steady rhythm that awakens internal awareness, restores balance, and reshapes how students relate to their bodies. His approach emphasizes resilience—not only physical resilience, but the emotional and energetic steadiness that comes from moving and masturbating with intention.
In his teaching, precision and play exist side by side. Nicholas invites students to explore their edges, shift habitual patterns, and discover new ways of moving and feeling that are powerful, connected, and deeply grounded. He creates an environment where challenge and softness can coexist, and where movement and self-pleasure both become pathways into the deeper intelligence of the body.
Expect to sweat, soften, and uncover new layers of strength, sensation, and embodied awareness. With Nicholas, every practice—whether on the mat or in mindful arousal—becomes an invitation to return home to yourself.
Jake - Founder & Lead Coach
Jake is the founder and lead coach of The Bare Collective, a space where pleasure meets purpose. As a Certified Holistic Sexologist and Certified Device Specialist through the American Board of Sexology, he’s a passionate advocate for sexual wellness, radical self-acceptance, and ditching the shame around pleasure.
He launched The Bare Collective as a way to help people reconnect with themselves—hands-on. What started as a bold idea to put self-pleasure back on the wellness map has grown into a movement that invites folks to explore their desires, bodies, and boundaries with curiosity, confidence, and zero shame.
Known as a Self-Pleasure Coach (yes, that’s a real and very awesome thing), Jake helps people build healthier, more empowered relationships with their sexuality. While he’s not a mental health professional, his mission is all about guiding folks to unlearn shame, embrace their turn-ons, and reconnect with themselves in ways that feel real, liberating, and totally judgment-free.
With over five years in the sexual wellness world—and the last two laser-focused on creating transformative practices, workshops, and events—Jake is all about breaking stigmas and helping people step into their full sexual confidence. While his work welcomes all gender identities, he often works closely with male-identified individuals, helping them navigate the tangled webs of shame, performance pressure, masculinity, and body image.
Jake’s style is a unique blend of education, embodiment practices, and open, no-BS conversations. Through The Bare Collective, he’s helping people rewrite their pleasure stories—and it’s not just about what happens in the bedroom. Here, self-pleasure is reimagined as an act of mindfulness, healing, and radical self-discovery.
